There is nothing more important than protecting yourself and the ones you love. While no one can predict the future and what it may hold, there are steps you can take to protect yourself and your family when faced with some of life’s most difficult circumstances.
Life Insurance
When you purchase life insurance, you are protecting those who are dependent upon you for financial support should you no longer be around to provide. Think of the future and the plans you might have 5, 10 or even 20 years down the road. Whether it is paying for your children to attend college or paying off the mortgage on your family home, life insurance can help make those dreams come true regardless of what the future may hold.
Life insurance can take care of your family and the unexpected expenses they may face in the future. Benefits can be used to cover:
- Burial costs
- Medical bills
- Outstanding debts
- Lost income
- Major expenses (i.e. retirement, college tuition)
We offer three primary types of life insurance: term, whole, and universal coverage. While all provide payable death benefits, each of these coverage types serve a different purpose for the policyholder.
Term Life Insurance
A term life policy expires after a pre-determined period of time (usually between 10 and 30 years). In exchange for a limited coverage period, the average term life policy provides much higher death benefits and lower premiums than other types of life insurance. These policies are especially beneficial during the prime working years, when you might have a spouse, children or business partner who is reliant on you for income.
Whole Life Insurance
A whole life insurance policy is good for the life of the insured. While benefits tend to be lower and rates tend to be higher, a whole life policy never expires. In addition, whole life coverage accumulates cash value over time.
Universal Life Insurance
Universal life insurance provides flexible living benefits to the policy holder. Premiums are paid into an account where they accumulate cash value over time. This cash value may be borrowed against or otherwise grow tax-deferred and used for future retirement, education or personal expenses.
Health Insurance
In addition to life insurance, Harnish Insurance Group Agency can help you find the health coverage that is right for you. Under federal law, nearly everyone in Arizona is required to have some type of health coverage. While there are designated open enrollment periods each year, anyone can qualify for health insurance outside of open enrollment when faced with certain qualifying events. Examples include getting married, having a baby, losing coverage through an employer, or getting divorced.
